Answer:
Great question!
First, anything and everything can be explained and described with logic. A mystery only exists when we do not know the answer but there is an answer to everything, a very logical one.
This connection to God; the heart that leads us to God is real! However, our languages lack the definition to properly describe what it is. We use words like soul or spirit, divine energy, universal understanding or knowledge but all of these conceptual terms which attempt to describe that thing no one seems to know too much about; that missing variable in the life equation, explains who we are, where come from, where we are going and why we are here on the earth.
Understanding this mystery, even at a conceptual level can explain everything; the rest is academic. I find it amazing now that so few seem to get it. No matter how advanced our earth science becomes in the future, it will always be primitive compared to the technology that surrounds us, the technology that facilitated our life on the earth. Oh…we can build microwave ovens and rockets that go to distant planets and in the future we will even explore other dimensions and even have great longevity of life but still our technology will be primitive. Why? The greatest technology surrounds us. It's already been invented, the best science can do is to imitate to a lesser degree the technology that already exists.
Did you ever see a simple magic trick performed well? We say to ourselves, there is no way anyone can do that? However, sometimes those tricks that seem so undoable are so simple. I've asked myself the question over and over, why? The answer: It's not supposed to be easy to figure out. There are forces (technical forces) within us that make understanding difficult, that make evolution an individual matter as opposed to a social one. Learning how to live in an immortal society is not an easy matter.
Imagine how difficult living forever would be. In time, the smallest imperfection in our character would destroy us. Out there, when this happens, we seek to begin again, to wipe the slate clean (tabula rasa) and start over. This is why all of us are here on the earth. We failed to learn last time we were here that we will always be immortal, that we must live life one step at a time. We must learn to look at our feet moving down the path of life instead of at the mountain we must climb, looming like the executioners song in the far distance. Not doing so inspires us to quit or turn away before the journey even begins.
Who is God? What is matter, how did it organize into what we perceive today? There is a simple explanation for it all (like the simple trick that evades us) and it is imperative that we learn what it is before our journey can even begin.
Do we all have a connection to the divine (heart)? Yes we do! Everything exists within us. Every answer to every question is in us, God calls to us to learn. In order to hear the divine calling to us, we must forget much of what we thought the answers are (our beliefs) and start again, allowing God to teach us.
There is only one way to divinity, one truth and the only way to find it is to listen to the only logical place it can come from, from the divine which exists within self.
Good luck on your journey…..
