All of us are always being talked to on the inside, being led and being given options both good and bad which "we" choose! There are some I refer to as advanced beings who do target politicians and scientists, etc. and they do try to influence their choices; however, which direction we go, is still a matter of individual choice. This is a law of the universe, a law of physics, no one can ever take away our ability to choose, try as some might, to do so!
For me, with regard to politicians and the current upcoming primary and subsequent election, politicians use their energy to get elected; energy that should be used in the quest for God! I see politicians as those who are not necessarily high on the evolutionary scale. This is not a bad thing; it is just a learning thing. I think that there can be those who are good, honest and willing to "sacrifice" themselves for the good of others, as all leaders should be prepared to do. However, the bottom line is this; we are children, here on the earth. No matter what we think of ourselves or our importance, we are children, which our, "out there" parents are trying to teach.
As a practical matter, those who lead our country should be those who understand the mechanics of economy. Unfortunately, there are few if any who do! I feel that there is little chance of a politician who will not compromise ethics to get elected. This is unfortunate but we, the people, would not be compelled to elect someone who will tell us the truth. It is up to us the electorate to elect those who will not compromise their values in order to be elected.
I just wrote an article recently which was just published on website, where I praised Governor Rick Perry for calling the Social Security system a "Ponzi scheme" because it has become one. This is an honest assessment which will make him a target for the other candidates as well as all political opposition.
I think it is possible for a good man to be elected in times of great crisis but in these times (in the future), it is also a time for a tyrant to be accepted by the people as well-so, we all have to looking out for that. However, I believe that these times are still ahead of us and the best leaders are the most moderate and least likely to do anything radical. I'm not saying that there is not a time for radical actions, there are... but those times are still ahead of us. Until then, we should do the best we can to take care of each other but using reason to do it.
No one in this country should go hungry, be without housing, clothing or medical attention; however, hard work should be rewarded to the level of the work accomplished. This is a law of physics and when man attempts to change these laws, trouble is going to follow.
I appreciate your questions and find a great deal of pleasure answering them as well as all of the questions we get here. Like you, I am just a student and this gives me the opportunity to do what I am supposed to do here on the earth and learn how I am supposed to learn. This is what we all came here for.
