These stories are real to a degree but not to the level that they have been portrayed in the many books that have been written about the subject. There are people in the world who have great money and power but they cannot necessarily control the great population of the earth. It's ironic that those at the top of the social pyramid seek to control those at the bottom but this is the case. Try as they may, this is a much greater job than they in their wisdom can accomplish. These powerful people who meet covertly and practice rituals are basically fulfilling a fantasy. Granted they are not alone in this fantasy, there are many people out there as well, that are participating with them in their desire to be godlike and all powerful. When it is all said and done, in time, they will all find out that they are not that important in the whole scheme of things and they will be forced through the door of reality.
You ask, "Is paranoia getting to my head"? I say that it takes a little paranoia to become an explorer. Continue to read and learn about these groups; it is very interesting but never allow the "maybes" in life to become absolute truth. Keep it real!
These groups do exist but they have no more power from the great beyond than you or I. No matter who they think they are in the universe, they will come to find out in time that they are no greater or smaller than anyone else and the sooner the better. Once we all discover this truth, the sooner we can go on to the next great universal mission. Remember that the lies surrounding intriguing projects that occur here on the earth often become greater than the reality of what happened. There is a great mystery which needs to be solved but it has not happened at least yet… to any great degree within the status quo.
