Response
J.S. Thompson’s Response:
It’s been some years back but my closest friend, now deceased… once told me of an experience he had while driving. This came at a time of great stress as he was losing the love of his life. He told me he was driving but he somehow lost consciousness and miraculously had driven some distance before he became aware. In that missing time, he had driven all the way to his relative’s house and when he arrived, discovered this strange occurrence had happened. Just days later, at church, our priest, relayed the exact same story as he too had driven some distance completely unaware of the trip. Apparently, this is a common experience. However, when you hear two stories that are similar, I would pay attention. Someone was trying to tell us something and someone is telling me something when I hear this. This is called a synchronicity! I’ve never heard of an experience exactly like yours but now I have.
Often at times of great stress, our guides will talk to us. When they do this, they choose a time when we are most likely to hear them. Even if we don’t consciously hear them, we do understand what they are telling us at some level of consciousness. For many, the time when we are most apt to hear them, is when we are driving. Me personally, I’ve never lost consciousness, but I have been so completely absorbed in thought that, that I lost touch with the road for a few minutes. However, I’ve never had any problem driving doing this. This can also happen listening to music, which I do a lot. When we have an unusual experience, we need to pay attention. If we do not, a great deal of what our guides tell us will go unnoticed.
Good luck and take care,
J.S. Thompson
