You are here on the earth on for a very specific reason; to develop the self-discipline and the character necessary to live in an immortal community eternally. When we finally do this from our many lives, we leave the cycle of life and death and we go on to the next step on our eternal path. Whether we are here on the earth or out there, we must always be accountable for our actions. Everything we say think and do is documented and recorded. When our time is over here and we leave the earth, we get to see some of our life that has been recorded in what is called a "life review. Can you imagine how we would act and think if we knew this was going to come back to haunt us?
We and the universe work like a machine. When there is sand in the mechanism, it doesn't run as well and consequently, it makes us unhappy and depressed. When there is sand in the mechanism we don't feel as well as we could.
The conflict within us is there for a reason. It is telling us something. Conflict tells us that there is something we need to do. Truth be known, we already know what we need to do, in fact we hear that little voice quite well, however, we refuse to listen it because it is telling us something that we do not want to hear. What is your voice telling you that you do not want to hear? That voice is telling us what we need to do to leave the cycle of life and death. We hear it but we do not care to listen to it because it is telling us to do something difficult, it is telling us to swim against the current; it is telling us that only those strong enough to hear the voice will leave the cycle of life and death, will be victorious over the conflict that rages within us. Ask yourself this question…. “What is God trying to tell me that I do not care to listen to” and you will have answered the question that opens the gate of true happiness and true love. However, there is another voice… it is a voice that lets us off the hook and tells us it is ok when it isn't ok. It is the voice that tells us to walk the path of the status quo… the path that society approves. Do not listen to that voice; that voice is the reason that most of us will not go on to immortality but will come to earth once again for another life. Never follow the path of the society! Rise above the mediocrity of the status quo.
Good luck in your journey…..
