(I previously posted a question about Gabriel Fernandez, and I so appreciate your time and consideration in responding) I wanted to ask a couple additional questions, if you don’t mind. Why was it that nobody saved him that should have? I have read some of your other posts and there is this idea of interference from Solamenta in order to ‘identify’ individuals. Was this going on for Gabriel? or his mother/her boyfriend? It makes no sense to me that so many were involved but did nothing. It stings worse being that tomorrow is the day they took him off life support.

J.S. Thompson's Response:

Of all the questions I’ve answered over the years, non cut me so badly as to attempt to explain the suffering of innocence. This world, Is perfect in its imperfection. God allows evil! Why? In order to understand, one must see through the eyes of God! There is true evil in the world but much of it is selfishness and stupidity. God allows us to make horrific mistakes because if we do not, we do not learn and evolve!

We see the world through human eyes; God sees the world through eternal eyes. As tragic as this child’s suffering was and the suffering of millions of children each day is, for God to intervene, would make all of his creation meaningless, as we would be nothing more than robots incapable of eternal paradise. There is a perfect plan! It’s unfortunate that anyone must suffer at the hands of anyone but one at a time we learn and one at a time, we leave the path of life and death. There comes a time for all of us, when we are capable of living in an eternal community. As Jesus was dying on the cross, he looked out at his executioners, who were making fun of him and said to them, “forgive them Father, for they do not know what they are doing!” Sometimes, we just have to have faith that God does know.

Thank you for the question and good luck on your continued journey,
J.S. Thompson
