It is easy to verify. A clock on an airplane will move slower, not much slower, than a clock that is stationary. This is an aspect of relativity. If a rocket was accelerating and approaching the speed of light, according to the theory, the space that it comes into contact with would eventually become so dense that a state of critical mass would be reached. This is why, according to the theory, nothing can exceed the speed of light.
However, it is just a very good theory and some aspects of the theory are accurate and some are not. Just like jumping off of a bridge; at a certain height, you can jump off of a bridge and nothing happens but if the bridge is high enough, eventually it will kill you, when a point of critical mass is reached. The density of the water doesn't change until a moving body traveling at a certain speed is introduced into it. The exact same thing happens in space. If you can travel fast enough, the mechanism (clock) not time itself, will slow down because of the pressure that opposes it. This is just logic.
In order to understand time, we must consider the entire universe, the universal clock. If you are traveling very fast in space, the mechanism you use to measure time (clock), will slow. However the universal clock is always keeping real time. Just like in the movie "Bill and Ted", George Carlin is always reminding Ted to wind his watch because no matter what time the time machine takes them to, real time is always clicking away in San Dimas.
This universe we live in, works like a clock and it is always on time. No matter what we do or how fast we go, the universal clock is always keeping real time. As far as the speed of light; there is little known about the speed of light, there are accepted theories but science does not know. The speed of light gives a finite foundation which allows equations to work.
To answer your question, no one has proven definitively what pressure is. We know some of the things it does but we don't know what it is. It is the same with something we take for granted like electricity! We know what it does but we don't really know what it is. Scientists use a lot of terms to describe many of things that have not yet been defined such as; electromagnetic radiation, magnetic field, gravity, strong and weak nuclear forces, pressure etc.
With pressure for instance, we know that if we force atmospheric particles into a test chamber we can measure the increase in pressure but we still don't know what it is. Let me give you another way to look at pressure; when we force atmospheric particles into a test chamber, we cause a magnetic field. When we synthetically disrupt something's natural state, it fights back attempting to regain homeostasis. How does this happen? The particles that are being disrupted are expanding from within. This is what a magnetic field is. This is what gravity is. You can't define a circuit with a linear equation because circuits are not linear, neither is the orbit of the earth around the sun. Nothing moves in this manner. Particle orbit is always in a corkscrew, down and around, always moving toward the center, becoming more relatively dense as it does, and then orbiting back becoming less dense, always moving from high pressure to low and back to high.
Can I prove what I say? No, I cannot but science has not proven me wrong either.
This is a great question-. Good luck on your journey!
