Telling lies is a serious business, but there is such a thing as a righteous lie. For example: During World War II, if the Nazi's came knocking at your door and asked you if you were hiding Jews and you were, would you turn them in or would you lie? God would bless you if you did lie (as this is a righteous lie). When we consider a righteous lie, be careful. True lies come from the heart and are used for unrighteous reason.
