Your purpose as well as the purpose of all people whether here or there is to face and eventually overcome all of our challenges until we have mastery over ourselves, until we become the type of people that can live in an eternal community as immortal people. That is what this universe is; it is a machine that produces this kind of person. Our challenges, strategically placed in our paths, when overcome, give us the strength and character to become these people.
God does not make this easy for us; it is not supposed to be easy. We on the earth view the world from a very limited perspective; we need to understand that God does not. We need to have faith that God knows what she is doing. If a being has the capability to create this universe which works like a clock, then she can also, control our lives to a productive end in time. Becoming this person is a choice but it is a choice that she knows we will all make in time.
