Why does one suffer from depression after enlightenment?

The most exciting experience one can have… is to gain knowledge of something the status quo can only believe in. I quickly learned that this experience cannot be shared completely. You cannot share the knowledge gained, only the experience. It can be a lonely feeling to know what most others can only believe in.

When you knock on the door long and hard enough, the door will open but one soon discovers that there are many other doors to be discovered and then opened, if one is so inclined. The challenges one faces as they go down this path, become more difficult as time goes on.

The path toward enlightenment can be a difficult one but also a very rewarding one.
